Casey Schwartz
Attorney
Casey’s estate planning practice focuses on empowering families with improved lives today and a legacy for tomorrow. She prides herself on being the trusted advisor families can rely on to help them understand the often complex process of financial and legal decision making during the estate planning process.
Casey is originally from the Baltimore, MD area. She graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2012, and quickly went to work in the field of estate planning where she was exposed to the traditional, transactional model that far too often leaves many gaps which result in unnecessary conflict and lost assets.
As a mother to three children, Casey is reminded every day of the importance of life and legacy planning that leaves your loved ones with a sense of love, care and ease.
Casey resides in Mt. Pleasant, SC with her husband, Dave and three children. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and South Carolina.
Jensen Bonanno
Associate Attorney
Jensen is an associate attorney, focused on understanding her client’s goals and helping them to protect their legacies. She works closely with individuals and families to provide guidance and support throughout the estate planning process. She is committed to working with clients to preserve what matters most to them.
Jensen, a NY native, graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2025, where she was significantly involved in the Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter, Business Law and Real Estate Societies, and Pro Bono services. She chose the practice of estate planning because she is passionate about assisting people during some of life’s most important decisions.
In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants around the city, playing trivia with friends, and advocating for animal welfare. Jensen is licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
Dave Schwartz
Director of Operations
Dave ensures that all staff members are properly equipped to give clients a white glove experience at the firm.
He is originally from Catonsville, MD and worked in the non-profit field before joining the firm.
He is married to Casey and they live in Mount Pleasant with their three children. When he’s not at the office, Dave can be found watching the Baltimore Orioles or on the golf course.
Gina Melella
Outreach Director
Gina introduces folks in the community to our unique, relational estate planning approach and prepares them to take next steps with us. As a client of the firm herself, she loves sharing her experience with people at large events, small coffee houses and networking lunches all over the Lowcountry.
Originally from Putnam County, New York, she moved here in 2021. Gina has a diverse professional background that included owning a chain of martial arts studios. She is happily married to her husband, Paul. They live in Mount Pleasant where they raise their two children.
